This course is for
Graduates of Intermediate English A or people with a vocabulary of over 3000 words that can read, with some effort, an English news paper and follow a lecture or interview on a familiar topic with fair understanding. People who encounter difficulty understanding new topics or high-level English, but can manage with casual English with mistakes, that do not apply all they know when speaking and struggle with writing.Duration
12 weeks that includes 24-36 learning hours.
Course structure and goals
The course is taught while focusing on topics such as health and the human soul, science and technology, leisure, humor and gender issues.
Our vocabulary and language skills develop and expand along with the content while we focus on complex verbs that are needed for expressing emotional, health and social conditions. We will also expand our grammar skills including various uses of future tense.
The new vocabulary includes prefixes and suffixes that change the meaning of words, a treasure of emotion words, the language of jokes as well as gender expressions and the language of courtship.
At the end of the course the student will
