This course is for
Graduates of English for Beginners C or people who have a good command of about 2500 words, can converse in basic English with mistakes but confidently. People who know grammar rules but do not apply them, who can follow a lecture on a familiar topic or an interview discussing current events, but cannot watch an English speaking movie with no subtitles.Duration
12 weeks that includes 24-36 learning hours.
Course structure and goals
The course is taught through topics dealing with animals, fame, travels, thoughts, emotions and food from around the world.
We learn to build complex sentences using conjunctions, and expand our usage of tenses, adjectives and verbs. We learn advanced reading skills such as identifying the subject matter, extracting the essence from a sentence, reaching conclusions and reading between the lines.
We practice speaking through storytelling, introducing new information, discussions and debates. We practice writing through descriptions, detailed reports and long letters.
At the end of the course the student will

| communicate spontaneously with English speakers. | |
